Quick hands.
This character was getting gas opposite us when I saw him reach into the air ever so quickly and back into his pocket. He finished pumping but stood around staring at us and grinning this golden smile. Then Stef realized that he was missing 10 bucks. Turns out he had put the money on the pump, but the wind blew it and our new friend had caught it out of midair. He winked and grinned a little bit more, and then gave it back to Stef.
All the Tunisians we met along our trip seemed to be flawlessly honest. Whether it's cultural or just a strong police, I can't say, but I felt very safe in Tunisia.
